Applying means handing over your ID, your face and your bank details. We think you deserve to know exactly how each one is stored, who can see it, and how decisions about you are made.

Safeguards

How your data is protected.

  • Documents in a private vault

    ID photos and selfie videos are stored in private storage, never on a public link. Reviewers open them through links that expire after a few minutes.

  • Sensitive numbers encrypted

    Bank details and tax numbers are encrypted with AES-256 before they're saved. Everywhere else in the product, you'll only ever see the last four digits.

  • Full numbers almost never shown

    If a reviewer genuinely needs to see a full tax number to re-verify you, they must give a reason, the number is shown for a limited time, and the access is logged.

  • Every decision is recorded

    Verification steps, account approvals and payouts are written to an append-only audit log, with who made them and when.

  • Same rubric for everyone

    Interview answers are scored on content against four published competencies. Accent, appearance and background aren't inputs.

  • People check the edge cases

    Automatic checks handle the clear cases. Anything borderline — an unclear ID, a score in the review band — goes to a person, not a silent rejection.

Every piece of information we ask for has one purpose. If it isn't needed for that purpose, we don't ask.

About your data

Do you sell or share my data?
No. Your data is used to verify you, assess your application and pay you. We don't sell it, and we don't share it with advertisers.
Who can see my documents?
Only members of our verification team, and only through short-lived links that expire after a few minutes.
Is the AI making the final decision?
For clear passes, the score activates your account automatically. Borderline scores are always looked at by a person, and every decision can be reviewed.
Why do you need a live selfie, not just a photo?
A short video is much harder to fake than a still photo. It's how we make sure the face on the ID is the person applying.
